We Make Team Building Work for You

Gold line.

Finding a unique and engaging game that appeals to everyone can be challenging. Our poker tournaments offer the perfect solution—they’re fun and social, and we take care of all the details. Plus, since no one plays for money, the competition remains light-hearted and friendly.

Our Event Managers handle all the details.
You work with a single point of contact.

Our real dealers can teach anyone to play poker.
Lessons and cheat sheets are included in every game.

Our game experience is customized to build cohesion.
From the lessons table to the Final Table, no one is left behind.

We believe team building should be both easy to plan and easy to play. We'll bring real poker tables and professional dealers to your company party, hosting a tournament that will entertain and engage your entire staff.

Your Team Will Love Poker - Here's Why

Gold line.

Our clients often say they want something that makes their team more "team-y". Nothing brings people together faster than the power of play. Combine the structure of a tournament with the luck of the draw for a potent team building experience. It’s intentional, it’s effective, and it’s easy to implement.

There is a leader.
Our specially-trained dealers are your "Poker Ambassadors."

It's inclusive.
Poker is a truly level playing field and since there is no real money involved, everyone can play.

Communication comes naturally.
The distraction of playing a game reduces anxiety and brings down barriers.

It's truly social.
Random seating ensures that players overlap and interact throughout the experience without any awkward, forced collaboration.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re hosting an office party for 10 people or an annual convention for 200—we make it easy. Guests simply show up and our amazing dealers will guide them every step of the way.  When you need a unique team building game that will engage your staff, think poker.  Yes.  Poker.

"From start to game night, the team, beginning with Jim Fitzgerald were friendly, meticulous and flexible. We had a great night of team building and laughs."

Brian B, Northwell Health

"We just used the Poker People for a company retreat in Santa Monica. They were great to work with. Fitz was our dealer. He did a great job explaining poker to a few newbies and at the end of our evening he even entertained us with a few impromptu magic tricks. Highly recommend this company!"

Lisa F, Transmission Analytics Consulting

"We had another fantastic Texas Hold'em home tournament party! We have used the Poker People for many years and every time it is an awesome experience. They are on time, professional, good communicators and our guests are always impressed with the dealers. The dealers keep the game moving, ending the evening at the predetermined time. The Poker People are our go-to company."

Douglas G
